Who we are

YourPriority is made by MD Sabel Ahmad Tanjil, an independent developer ("we" or "us"). This policy covers the YourPriority apps for iPhone and Mac, and this website. You can reach us at yourpriorityapp@gmail.com.

What stays on your device

Everything you type into YourPriority is stored on your iPhone or Mac. This includes your to-dos, steps, notes, reminder times, planning reminders, block settings, and the hourly rate and screen time you enter in the cost calculator. We don't receive any of it.

Screen Time on iPhone

On iPhone, blocking uses Apple's Screen Time tools. When you choose apps to block, iOS gives YourPriority private tokens instead of the apps' names. iOS measures your app usage on your device, and that information is never sent to us.

Browsers on Mac

With your permission, the Mac app reads the address of the tab you're on in Safari, Google Chrome, Arc, Brave and Microsoft Edge. It uses that address only to check it against your block list and to count time on sites you've chosen to limit. It never reads the page itself, your passwords or what you type. It doesn't keep a history of the sites you visit, and the minutes it counts are reset every day.

When a site is blocked, the page with your priorities is served by the app on your own Mac. To show a website's icon in the app, the Mac app downloads that icon from the website itself and keeps it on your Mac.

iCloud Sync (Pro)

If you subscribe to Pro and turn on iCloud Sync, your to-dos and notes are stored in your private iCloud database, using Apple's CloudKit, so they can appear on your other devices. This data belongs to your Apple ID and we can't access it. Block lists and settings are not synced. Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and charged by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email address or payment details. We use RevenueCat, a subscription service, to check whether you have Pro. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID created by the app, and your App Store purchase history for YourPriority. This information isn't linked to your identity.

Notifications

Reminders and planning prompts are scheduled on your device by iOS or macOS. Their content isn't sent to us.

Contacting us

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your email address, your message, and your name if you give it. We use them only to reply to you. Messages sent through the contact form are stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service.

This website

This website is hosted by Netlify. It doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. Its fonts and images are served from this website, not from third parties. Netlify may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the service secure and running.

What we don't do

• We don't show ads.
• We don't sell or share your data.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We don't use analytics in the apps.

Children

YourPriority is rated 4+ on the App Store. The apps don't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Deleting YourPriority from a device removes the data stored on that device. To remove synced data from iCloud on iPhone, go to Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, Manage Account Storage (called Manage Storage on some versions), YourPriority, and Delete Data. To stop Pro, cancel your subscription in Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
